Under the direction of its owner Ileana Connolly, CPMâ, Goldstar Management Group opened its doors in December, 1997.  Ms. Connolly had a twelve-year management career with CB Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc. as their Apartment Specialist.  CBC gave Ileana the opportunity to take her portfolio Goldstar Management Group, as CBC has focused resources and energies on the commercial side of the business.

Ms. Connolly is responsible for overseeing Goldstar Management Group’s services. She is actively involved in every strategic decision of the company as well as it's client liaison.  She has been in the multifamily real estate management since 1981, first with JPK Management Services and then CB Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc. beginning in 1985, where for twelve years she was directly responsible for property management; coordinating multifamily management services, employees and business development.

Ms. Connolly has experience in identifying/implementing value added renovations, establishing marketing related programs, distressed management and conversion. Ms. Connolly’s education is in the areas of Architectural Drafting, Interior Design, Marketing and Business Communications.  She is a Certified Property Manager (CPMâ) and member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).  Ms. Connolly has served on several committees with the Arizona Multihousing Association including; Public Affairs, Professional Development and pioneered the Prevent Leasing Employee Assault and Sexual Endangerment awareness program.

Ms. Connolly is sensitive to market conditions and its impact on the asset, she has the ability to develop and implement marketing strategies as a proactive measure to hedge against uncontrollable conditions, this is critical, particularly during challenging times.

She is enthusiastic, has a genuine concern for the clients and is committed to asset performance and preservation.

Christine Francis, CPMâ, RPM®, ARMâ, also formerly of CB Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc., is the second half of Goldstar Management Group's ownership. During her nine year tenure at CBC, she held the position of Assistant Real Estate Manager for five years directly supervised by Ms. Connolly. Prior to her promotion Ms. Francis managed communities ranging from 100-450 units. Ms. Francis has diverse experience in all facets of on-site residential management, including resident relations, leasing, marketing, advertising, accounts receivable/payable, maintenance and annual budgeting.  Particular areas of expertise include: knowledge of liability issues, comprehensive knowledge of Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act and current knowledge of fair housing laws. 

Ms. Francis’ strengths extend to monitoring the performance of property through budget preparations and monthly statement analysis. She directs our accounting department and reviews all Profit and Loss statements along with supporting documentation and bank reconciliations.

Lisa Stoss, our Regional Director, has worked within our industry for ten years. Ms. Stoss’s management experience is diverse; she provided leasing/marketing training for two years, served on the “think tank” committee to generate customer service ideas and managed communities in excess of 450 units. Ms. Stoss is marketing oriented, enthusiastic and enterprising.  She holds an Arizona Real Estate License and two designations; a PAM (Professional Apartment Management) and PLP (Professional Leasing Program).

Ms. Stoss’s role is significant in that she travels from property to property to lend support to the on-site staff, helping to fine tune the daily operations, review budget expectations, leasing activities, computer functions and to provide on going training.  Ms. Stoss’s knowledge of the client’s asset is invaluable.  She is hands on and is well respected by our clients as well as our personnel.

Linda Costello is the primary accountant for our properties.  Her career spans over seventeen years, in positions where her management and accounting skills afforded her promotions and high praise. Ms. Costello is highly organized and understands the day to day nuances of the property management field.  Ms. Costello is proficient with MS Office and GEAC’s EFINANCIAL software which is the accounting software used by Goldstar Management Group. 

Ms. Costello works well independently as well as part of a team. She is effective, efficient and competent. She is committed to providing accurate, complete reports in a timely manner.
